In each and every case, auto repair and service at The Engine Room provides you with solid evidence that your vehicle has been serviced to meet or exceed the terms of all warranties, including extended warranties.

Scheduled Maintenance

At The Engine Room in Santa Cruz, we are committed to the concept of preventive maintenance. Our customers have come to realize that inexpensive services, such as regular oil changes, performed at regularly scheduled intervals, is the best way to ensure trouble-free motoring, and also the best protection against breakdowns and expensive major repairs. Every scheduled service we perform includes an inspection report, detailing what we've done and what should be done in the future. We recommend oil changes every 3,000 miles, plus oil, filter and lube changes and a chassis inspection every 6,000 miles. At 15,000 miles, vehicles need a more complete service/ inspection. At 30,000 miles, a very thorough service/ inspection would include: Changing all fluids, such as transmission oil, differential oil, anti-freeze and brake and clutch fluid for manual transmissions.
